Structure : MET Roof with Glulam main beams / steel bracings / steel gable structures.

The roof structure is a 34m x 70m roof structure, covering the multi-purpose hall of the new Yusof Ishak Secondary School located in Punggol.

The main features of this roof structure a series of long-span glulam main beams of 34m span. The main beams are split into 2 twin glulam beams, in order to manage the contrains of lifting. Each pair of twin beams is located at 9.80m spacing.

Studio Oktoplus has provided the design of the glulam structure from tender stage to construction stage.
